Advancing Health and Wellness

Dr. Philips' Story

Dr. Dahlia Philips’ journey into medicine was inspired by personal challenges and a deep desire to serve others. Starting as a “candy striper” in high school and later volunteering through NYU’s PAVER program and the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship, she developed a passion for patient care and public health. These experiences, along with community work for organizations like God’s Love We Deliver and the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, shaped her commitment to addressing healthcare needs. After earning a full scholarship to UConn Medical School and specializing in infectious diseases during her training at Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Philips built a 15-year career combining clinical expertise, compassion, and public service. As an MBA candidate at George Washington University with extensive experience in private and public healthcare, she now brings her unique skills and dedication to Lovelace Franklin, where she aims to create meaningful solutions in medicine and beyond.
